Anyone disown their name after something rlly big and stupid came out like High School Musical?

My name is Gabriella, and after HSM came out and I would tell people my name, they would say "oh like from High school Musical?!!" And id sit there and stare @ them and be like "................no". So now, I just go by Gabby...............stupid disney.
