How can the United States ever solve its problems if citizens won't get involved and do their part?
No savior president is coming to save the world. Leaders can only do so much, and the ultimate responsibility lies with the millions of people. For instance, we will definitely get a recession if we wish for it badly enough. If you stop spending (possibly one of the worst things to do for your country at the moment), companies can't sell products or create jobs. When the government issued stimulus checks (OUR money to you), why so much eagerness to save? Suddenly, articles popped up encouraging people not to spend them. Let's not have anymore denials, blames, or regrets, but focus on repairing what is broken to the best of our abilities. We can start with a bit of coordination and cooperation.
