Has anyone ever gotten married in catalina island?

me n my boyfriend have been together for a while weve set up dates but it never happens so he said lets get married in catalina but we have never been there n its pretty stupid to choose that place since we are not at all familiar with but i think hes calling my bluff but im taking him up for it
