I take it by powdered sugar you mean icing sugar? You could use the powdered sugar to make an icing for the top of the rolls and if poss fill the inside with Jam. Failing that you could use the sugar with the egg whites and whisk them up until very hy and make small meringue. When cooked then dust them with a little more sugar.
