Although he maybe was right. Was the commissioner impetuous in saying "This year's ENDING topped last year's" ?

No. He was wrong. This year's super bowl was not that great. I never thought I'd say it but this super bowl was a bit boring. Last year's super bowl ending was better and more exciting. It was a wild card team knocking off an un-defeated team. How much more exciting can you get than that? This year, was alright but the thing was the Cardinals just weren't and have never been an exciting team. I do think that the Cardinals proved a lot of nay sayers wrong about getting this far, but in the end it wasn't enough.
